Marshall, Michigan

The city of Marshall is a typical small American town located in Calhoun county in Southwest Michigan. The Governor's mansion was built in Marshall in 1839 with the hope that it would be the Governor's home.

Marshall is positioned 42.26 degrees north of the equator and 84.95 degrees west of the prime meridian and has a total area of 6.1 square miles. The City is named for U.S. Chief Justice, John Marshall.

The City of Marshall is rich in history, from the Brooks Memorial fountain in the center to the Honolulu House Museum, Governors Mansion, Museum of Magic, Postal Museum to Capitol Hill School Museum. Marshall is home to the one of the nation's largest National Historic Landmark Districts with over 850 buildings included in the Landmark.
